Woods began working for ABC 10 in April 2001 as a weekend meteorologist before switching to the morning shift after four months. Monica became the Chief Meteorologist at KXTV on May 31, 2011, and moved to the evening news at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m.
Monica is a proud University of Florida and Mississippi State University graduate. She earned a bachelor’s degree in telecommunication from the University of Florida in 1994 and a master’s degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University in 1999.
