September is almost over! I thought I’d share with you everything we’ve added to Netflix in September. It’s been a while since the last time we updated our guide but I thought it was about time to bring it back.
August is a month of change and transition, a time when people naturally reflect on their lives and take stock of where they are and where they want to go. It’s also a perfect month to put some distance between you and the old, to start making plans for the future, and to start thinking about what you want to watch on Netflix.
Netflix is the #1 streaming service in the world, and it only keeps getting bigger. With over 120 million subscribers worldwide, Netflix has the largest global reach of any streaming service. Now, after launching its service in India in August 2019, the company is looking ahead, and has announced that it plans to launch its streaming service in Latin America by 2024.. August is often a month in Hollywood when studios dump projects that have been postponed or are doomed for various reasons. It’s just another month for Netflix, which releases a handful of movies and TV programs nearly every day of the week. They don’t seem to be able to quit. They won’t stop.
This month, they have Beckett, a new thriller starring John David Washington, and Sweet Girl, a revenge thriller starring Jason Momoa. There’s also The Kissing Booth 3 and He’s All That, a gender-swapped version of She’s All That featuring social media sensation Addison Rae. There’s a whole series of sports documentaries called Untold, as well as a new series called Sparking Joy starring Marie Kondo. Plus, if you haven’t seen the incredible Friday Night Lights TV series, now is the time.

The series is being described as a sci-fi series that is 10 episodes long and will be released on August 19, 2024.
